京都に住んでいる人や、通っている人、京都に来てくれる人みんなで町家を後世に残してゆくために、みんなが気軽に使えるような施設にするというコンセプトや、1つ1つの部屋が、京都の文化がはぐくまれ、仕事と暮らしが共存していた町家に合わせて、伝統文化を体験する・何かを生み出す・ひとりの世界に浸るというコンセプトで作られていることを表した画像になっています。

部屋のイメージや用途を簡易的にまとめたものです。使う人の目線でプレゼンを見てもらうことをねらって、画像1と合
わせてると、この施設のパンフレットを模したものになるようにしています。

各部屋の詳細な説明です。様々な人に魅力的に映り、様々な用途で使うことができるように計画しました。また、住居兼工房や茶室付きの住宅という特徴を大切にして、工房や奥の間、茶室はそのままの用途で使うことができるようにしました。また、テレワーク用のスペースなど現代の需要や価値に対応した部屋も設けました。

This image shows the concept of making a facility that everyone can use freely, including those who live in, commute to, and visit Kyoto, to preserve the machiya for future generations. The concept that each room is designed to experience traditional culture creates something or immerse oneself in a world of one’s own, in accordance with this machiya where Kyoto’s culture was nurtured, and work and life coexisted.

This is a sample of the room use. It is intended to be viewed from the perspective of the user. I made this look like an actual brochure for the facility when combined with image 1.

This is a detailed description of each room. It was planned so that it would be attractive to different types of people and for various purposes. Also, taking advantage of the characteristics of the house as a residence with a workshop, a tearoom, those rooms can be used for their original use. In addition, we have newly created spaces for teleworking to meet the demands and values of today.
